We’d like to extend a warm welcome to Bernard Algayres, Smart Reporting’s new Managing Director as of January 2020.

Bernard brings more than 25 years of professional experience in the Healthcare IT products/service markets as an international leader and business developer of successful US corporations as well as European start-ups. His former positions include Vice President and General Manager for Enterprise Imaging at GE Healthcare; General Manager of eHealth Managed Services at Carestream Health; and General Manager of Kodak, just to name a few.

“I’m excited to join a dynamic company that is building the next generation of AI-driven universal reporting software,” Algayres says. “Beyond the excitement for the product, I have been convinced by the exceptional talents both team in clinical and technical expertise.”

Bernard’s vision for the Smart Reporting team is to lead the market in structured reporting in radiology, pathology and other specialties. Europe will be the primary focus market followed by North America and Asia.

“With the stringent need to improve clinical productivity and quality globally, together with the new trends of AI and cloud in imaging, there is a unique opportunity to revolutionize the field by introducing automation and structured reporting,” he adds.
